Faded Pictures: Tracing the Past-Black Genealogy

Faded Pictures: Tracing the Past-Black Genealogy

What is genealogical research? It’s tracing an individual’s ancestral history using historical records (official and unofficial), including data from the U.S. Census and notices of birth, marriage, and death, among others. The National Great Blacks in Wax Museum invites you to hear from three Black Genealogical special guests: Beth Thomas, Noreen J. Goodman and Glenn A. Blackwell. Hear their stories and learn how you can research your history.
