FY2019 SMALL CAP GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS
- In September 2018, the heritage area announces the opening of the grant cycle through its e-newsletters and other media.
- First-time applicants are usually required to attend a grant workshop at the heritage area's offices at 12 W. Madison Street. More information will be posted when the grant round opens.
- Grant applications are due on October 25, 2018. Applications must be submitted through the online grant system.
- Grants are reviewed by a panel of local heritage tourism, historic preservation, and museum adminiustration experts.
- Grants are reviewed and awards are made in late November or early December.
- Grant agreements are prepared, reviewed and signed by all parties.
